Goodbye, DeviantART!

I have decided that I will no longer be updating my DeviantART account.
It was really fun to use when I was growing up, finding myself, and making long lasting friends while pursuing my artwork. But, I am no longer actively creating new things for my business, ChibiWorks. I am still doing local conventions to sell my art, and I am continuously making different items to sell, but I am more likely to share these things on the Facebook page or on Etsy. And even Etsy will probably be going away soon, too. I sell way more on eBay and it costs me less, too. I don't feel the passion for my art like I used to. It's not a bad thing, either. The reason why is I am now a full time Veterinary Technician. I have a full time 8am - 5pm medical career and when I get home, I like to spend my free time with my husband. Crafting was a very big part in helping me grow into the person I am today and it will always be a part of who I am. The person I am today wants to help animals and learn about new ways to keep them healthy. My passion has gone on to veterinary medicine.
Most of the people I am friends with on DA are either younger than me or use DA as a way to socialize through artwork. The younger ones I rarely hear from anymore and the others I have become friends with outside of DA. Needless to say, there really isn't a reason to update here anymore except for my fans/followers. And that's where my other social media websites come into play.
If you're still following me, or are a new follower, please consider one of my other sites! I'm very thankful for all of you, for helping me grow as an artist... for all the uplifting comments and favorites. I'll never forget the feeling of getting a Daily Deviation because so many of you suggested it to the moderators. Every one of you is amazing..
